Simple Gratitude
Gratitude does not need big reasons. This practice invites you to notice something small already present in your life.
How to practice
- 1
Ask yourself: what is working right now?
- 2
Choose one concrete thing — a warm cup, a person, the comfort of a chair.
- 3
Stay with that perception for a few seconds.
- 4
If you like, write one line about it.
When to use
When waking up, before sleep, or in moments when attention gets stuck on what is missing.
Tip
Gratitude is not an obligation to feel something big. Noticing what exists is already practice.
What this practice offers
- Attention directed to what sustains the day.
- Less automatic focus on what is missing.
- A simple record of what is meaningful.
